Women of Kingdom City . . . we have an awesome retreat day planned for you, coming up on Saturday, June 3rd from 10am -3:30pm.
Our theme is DELIGHT! Zephaniah 3:17 says, “The Lord your God …will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”
We are excited to hear from our special guest, Pastor Jennifer Mitchell, from Lighthouse Church in Stony Plain. She will share her personal story of how she went from being a victim of war, to shaping hearts with the love and delight of Jesus. We’ll also enjoy a time of hearing some practical tips from a fashion stylist, Effie Asante, with advice on clothing styles for different shapes and sizes, along with advice on building a wardrobe on a budget.
Lunch will be provided.

About the Speaker
Pastor Jennifer was born and raised in Uganda, East Africa. Jennifer and her husband Cameron have been married for 14 years and have three children. With a psychology background, she served at Uganda Jesus Village orphanage for 5 years and later they served as the overseers for 2 years. Since coming to Canada, Jennifer and Cameron served as the directors for Freedom and Fire Ministries. This involved missions, self-sustaining projects, education, a feeding program, and travelling speakers for 8 years. Jennifer has served her local church in areas with youth, young adults, women, and personal ministry. Currently Jennifer is the Lead Pastor at the Lighthouse Church in Stony Plain Alberta.
