Senior Associate Leader

Reports to: Senior Leader/Lead Pastor
Terms: Full time
Start Date: Immediately


PRIMARY FOCUS 

As an experienced and gifted Leader, the Senior Associate Leader will bring diligent, Spirit-filled leadership which further enables Kingdom City to fulfill its vision to be “Releasing the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth” by bringing Executive-level leadership that champions two primary areas, those being:   

  • Implementation of the corporate Apostolic Vision of Kingdom City Church   

  • Executive Leadership and Oversight of the Staff Realm on behalf of the Senior Leader/Lead Pastor   

 

SPECIFIC OUTCOMES 

Reporting directly to the Senior Leader/Lead Pastor, and representing him to the Staff, the Senior Associate Leader will give consistent, Executive-level leadership to: 

 1. Implementation of the Vision of Kingdom City Church  

  • Ensure the implanting of KC Vision, Culture, & DNA throughout the Church’s ministries and personnel  

  • Ensure overall organizational alignment to KC’s Vision, Culture, & DNA   

  • Ensure the implementation of any high-level plans or direction, or projects of Kingdom City  

  • Monitor, assess & report on the advancement and effectiveness of Kingdom City as an organization  

  • Ensure a culture of organizational excellence at KC    

  • Recommend and implement key policies or strategies to improve the organizational capacity of Kingdom City  

  

2. Executive Overseer of Staff ensuring coaching, supervision, care & ministry effectiveness  

  • Represents the Senior Leader/Lead Pastor to the Staff realm  

  • Functions as the Executive Chief of Staff   

  • Directs the Lead Team (or if called by some other name)  

  • Overseer of Lead Team Staff on behalf of the Senior Leader/Lead Pastor  

  • Champions the overall Staff “Culture” for the organization  

  • Communicates as needed to the Staff realm   

  • Overseer of the Director of Operations  

  • Champions the overall hiring & onboarding processes with the assistance of the Director of Operations  

  

3. Specific Teams the Senior Associate Leader Will Serve On  

  • All Staff Team   

  • Project Teams  

  • Lead Team  

  • KC Executive Team  

  • Financial Management Team (FMT)   

  • Employee Matters   

  • Attends KC Board Meetings with Senior Leader/Lead Pastor  

  • Some Board Sub Committee Work  

  • Liaison to Renew Generations Ministry and collaborates with them as needed 

 

Other 

  • Anything else as may be delegated from the Senior Leader/Lead Pastor from time to time  

  • Possible Occasional Platform Responsibilities, Depending on Level of Gifting  

  • Possible Occasional Speaking Opportunities, Depending on Level of Gifting  

 

 Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor of Theology/Bible (or equivalent)  

  • Leadership Seminars 

  • Master's Degree (beneficial) 

  • Has overseen multiple staff at once in a church or Christian organization with those staff reporting directly to them 

  • Been on staff in a church or Christian Organization for min of 5 years 

  • Experience as a lead pastor is a benefit 

  • Has experienced the hiring of Staff 

  • Appreciative of Five-Fold Leadership 

  • Appreciative of Revival/Kingdom Culture 

  • Exceptionally strong in aligning Vision to Action
