Pastor/Director of Kingdom Kids

Kingdom City is looking for a dynamic leader who brings passion, energy and experience to one of the most vital roles in God’s Kingdom realm: the raising up of the next generation of world changers for Jesus. We are looking for someone who is a strong initiator, a great team builder, and a dynamic results achiever. You are someone who is walking in personal renewal and ready for increasing levels of revival to be released through your leadership. You are culture current with social media, technology, and have great strengths in working with people.
Position Summary
This person will bring strong, passionate, creative and mobilizing leadership to our highly important Kingdom Kids Ministry. We want to see this ministry fulfill our Vision to be “Releasing the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth” through a vibrant, Kingdom based approach. We see this position as highly essential in our over-all development of people and families as followers of Jesus who will change the world.
Role Focus
1. Create The Culture:
Ensure the environment is creative, inspiring, effective, fun, and safe.
Ensure that the culture of Kingdom City church is anchored into this ministry.
2. Build The Team:
Build, oversee and mobilize a dynamic team of both volunteers and staff.
by: recruiting, training, empowering, planning, evaluating, and improving the overall effectiveness of this ministry.
Identify gifting in volunteers and ensure volunteer retention and sustainability.
3. Lead The Advance:
Cast vision, catalyze advance, set direction, achieve results.
Oversee and implement a dynamic Kingdom –based Biblical curriculum that shapes this ministry into a revival, missional, and Holy Spirit working ministry that shapes young lives for effective age-appropriate discipleship in the presence of Jesus. Ensure that vibrant, age appropriate teaching and worship is released in this ministry area.
Other
Oversee the entirety of programming for pre- school to grade 6 for all worship services (currently 2 services, with potential for a 3rd) as well as other special kids and family events, camps, or focuses.
Anything else as may be delegated by the Supervisor from time to time.
“Plan to Protect® Screening” and Police Check is required for this role.
