Full-Cycle Bookkeeper

We are looking for an astute, experienced Full-Cycle Bookkeeper to help us manage resources, strengthen our ability to plan, and execute on missional activities to change the world. We require someone who is meticulous with their accuracy and enjoys working independently as well as part of a team of world changers. Start Date: Immediately
Role Type: Part-Time (30 Hours/week)


Responsibility Overview

  1. Full cycle bookkeeping for charitable organization

  2. Manage Payroll

  3. Prepare various account reconciliations (bank accounts, credit cards)

  4. Monthly bank and credit card reconciliations

  5. Process accounts payable in a timely manner

  6. Create and analyze financial reports including adjusting journal entries, and financial statements, monthly and quarterly financials reports

  7. Preparation of PSB returns

  8. Support the Finance Team

  9. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting

  10. Oversee and maintain giving management

  11. Benefits administration and maintenance of employee records


QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Previous relevant experience as a Bookkeeper in a not-for-profit setting

  • Proficient with Sage 50 bookkeeping software

  • Proficiency in Excel and MS Office

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Plan to Protect® Screening and Police Check is required for this role.
