Parking Lot Bonfire
Students are invited to gather in our church parking lot around multiple propane fire pits for games and other outdoor activities. We’ll enjoy hotdogs (individually wrapped and use condiment packets), chips, and beverages. Please bring your own chair and wear weather-appropriate clothing.
For: Grades 7–12
Cost: FREE
Please Note: Due to using pre-packaged/individual food items, we will not be able to accommodate gluten free or vegan hotdogs or buns. Please feel free to bring your own items if necessary.
Registration Required
Due to the safety measures put in place by the government and health authorities, and as we move through our 4-phased approach of in-person gatherings, our maximum capacity for this event is 50 people (this includes leaders). Therefore, all students and guests/friends must sign-up to participate in this event.
Disclaimer: As we begin in-person gatherings for some ministry events and activities, please know that we are adopting important health and safety measures as outlined by the Alberta Government . Adults are, of course, self-responsible in deciding what events or activities they are willing to participate in and responsible for determining what events their children and teens my participate in, knowing that others around us may carry COVID-19 virus but not exhibit symptoms. For all church-related activities, we ask all participants (including staff and volunteers) to abide by the following measures until further notice: follow the physical distancing guideline of 2m/6ft for anyone who is not family or in a family cohort (this includes being seated or standing); wear a mask when physical distancing is not possible; use hand sanitizer or wash hands with soap and water immediately upon entering the church building or someone’s home; greet each other with smiles, not physical gestures such as shaking hands or hugging; stay home if you’re feeling ill or running a fever; and let the church know if you or someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19 or has COVID-19 symptoms within two weeks of meeting together.
What are Community Nights?
Community Nights occur on the last Tuesday of every month and usually involve a high-energy theme. Students are encouraged to invite their friends who don’t regularly attend Kingdom City. We want to intentionally create a space where new students feel comfortable joining us for the first time and an opportunity for the youth of Airdrie (and area) to experience community in a fun, welcoming environment.
