Welcome Night

  • Kingdom City 1604 Summerfield Boulevard Southeast Airdrie, AB, T4B 1C7 Canada (map)

Plese Note: Date of this event has been moved to Wednesday, June 16.

Are you new? Or new-ish?

Whether you’ve been trekking along with us for the past few months, you’ve been attending on-and-off for the better part of a year, or you’ve just started checking us out online, we’d love for you to join us at Welcome Night. We want to begin to build a relationship with you and help you feel like you are an important part of this church-family (because you are!).

What to Expect

This is the perfect event for anyone who has joined us in the past year or so and is looking to get connected:

  • You will have a chance meet some of the ministry staff, talk with others who are new, and get to know the people of Kingdom City in a much deeper way.

  • We’ll share with you the vision and mission of this church.

  • You’ll hear about how you can get involved through various opportunities.

  • Snacks and drinks will be provided, as well as a chance to win some door-prizes.

REGISTRATION

In this season, registration is required to attend all events (due to reduced seating capacity to maintain physical distancing). Please register any guests or friends that will be joining you or send them the link so they can sign up on their own.

Please Note: This event is intended for adults, but teens (grade 6+) are welcome to attend with parents/guardians.

Please Note: As we gather in person for some ministry events and activities, please know that we are adopting important health and safety measures as outlined by the Alberta Government. Adults are, of course, self-responsible in deciding what events or activities they are willing to participate in, knowing that others around us may carry COVID-19 virus but not exhibit symptoms. For all church-related activities, we ask all participants (including staff and volunteers) to abide by the following measures until further notice: follow the physical distancing guideline of 2m (6ft) for anyone who is not family or in a family cohort (this includes being seated or standing); use hand sanitizer or wash hands with soap and water immediately upon entering the church building or someone’s home; wear a face mask when gathering; singing is strongly discouraged at this time (but please sing in your heart); greet each other with smiles, not physical gestures such as shaking hands or hugging; stay home if you’re feeling ill or running a fever; and let the church know if you or someone in your household tests positive for COVID-19 or has COVID-19 symptoms within two weeks of meeting together.
As of November 6, masks are now temporarily mandatory in all public places in Airdrie, including all gatherings at Kingdom City. Free masks are available, should you need one. This is up to participants to choose to comply with. Any possible subsequent fines or misdemeanours, due to any individual non-compliance with this regulation, are the sole responsibility of the participant, and are not the legal responsibility of Kingdom City Church.
